Standard features

1. Collective selective control

  • This is the button on the landings. Collective is two buttons up and down and selective is one button for up and down. 

2. Attendant control

  • On the control panel inside the lift, the lift can be manually over-ridden so as to stop on the floor of your choice by ignoring all landing calls. 

 3. Bypass at full load

  • If the lift is fully loaded all landing calls will be ignored. 

4. Car light automatic control

  • When the lift is not operating all car lights will  be switched off. 

5. Overload protection

  • The lift will not operate if the load exceeds its carrying capacity. 

6. Overload alarms

  • A alarm will sound in the lift when the lift is over loaded. 

7. Open hall call

  • This is if you press the button on the landing and the lift is on the floor by pressing the landing button the doors will reopen. 

8. Auto control for car fan

  • Car fan only operates if the lift is in use. 

9. Low-speed self rescu

  • If for some reason the lift pulls away and a fault is detected it will automatically level into the next floor. 

10. Function in case of faults

  • On the control panel all faults will be displayed. 

11. Over-speed protection

  •  If the lift over speeds of any reason the lift will come to a stand still. 

12. Alarm on C.O.P

  •  24 v alarm on car operating panel in side the lift. 

13. Emergency lighting on C.O.P

  • When there is a power failure a small light will come on, in the car operating panel, to light up the buttons and cabin. 

14. Brake monitoring function

  • Monitors the brake at all times. 

15. Light-curtain protection

  • On the cabin doors an infrared detectors are fitted to protect the doors and use of the lift when the doors are closing. 

16. Arrival gong office blocks only

  • When the lift arrive at a floor a gong will sound. 

 17. Intercom in car to motor room

  • Communication for technicians to communicate with occupants in lift. 

 18. Group control if more than 3 units

  • Communication between lifts so that the one lifts knows what the other lift is doing. E.g if you press a landing call you don't want all the lifts to stop there only the lift that is closest with minimum passengers will stop. 

19. Out-of-service lock

  • On the landing digital's a sign will display that a lift is out of service. 

20. Automatic correction of levels

  • Should the lift move out of level it will slowly re-level this happens when the lift is being loaded and the ropes stretch slightly. 

21. Run times display

  • This is on the control panel it displays the time it took to get to a floor. 

22. Runtime protection unusual position

  • If what ever reason the lift takes to long to get to a floor or fails to pull away from the floor it will shut down. 

 23. Manual hand-winding

  • In the machine room a device to manually wind up or down the lift will be fitted. 

24. Automatically return to main floor

  • When a lift has done its travel it will automatically return to the main floor e.g ground floor. 

 25. Close lock protection functions on landing

  • If the landing door does not close properly the lift will not operate. 

26. Forced door close

  • When on a floor and someone is holding the doors for to long the doors will force close. 

27. Automatic reserving call cancel

  • If a person gets into the lift and press the wrong button the call can be cancelled by press the button twice. 

28. Automatic opening time adjustment

  • Door timing can be adjusted for the doors to stay open longer or shorter. 

29. Automatic floor height detection

  • If you have floors that are deferent levels the lift will detect this and stop level all the time. 

30. Automatic fault detection and storage

  • In the control panel all faults will be stored for the technician to keep a record of problems. 

31. Fire emergency return

  • When the fireman service is activated the lift will automatically return to the floor, which has been demarcated for fireman service use. 

32. Inspection operation top of car

  • The lift can be controlled from on top of the cabin, this is manly used by the technicians for the serviceing of shaft equipment, the lift will operate at slow speed and no one can use the lift.
